Redeemer Church
in Union City
Redeemer is a parish church replant/relocation initiative benefiting from ongoing consultation and supplemental financial support from the Bayseed Collective. The pastoral team is leading the way in renovating an old chapel into a place for worship and community engagement that exemplifies the parish church and place-making values of the collective. They have also served as the sending parish for our church-planting initiative in Mountain View.
Redeemer Church
in Mountain View
Redeemer is a parish church plant sent from Redeemer in Union City and supported by the Bayseed Collective. Besides sacrificing some of its valuable leaders, a team of gifted disciple-making church members have been sent to bring the good news of Jesus to one of the most influential cities in the Bay Area. The ongoing support of Bayseed provides this church plant with what it needs to do the patient work of establishing a parish church in a very challenging area to arrive at financial independence.
Christ the King
in Watsonville
Christ the King is a parish church plant sent from Gospel Community Church in Santa Cruz in partnership with Bayseed Collective and the SEND Network. Bayseed provides on-the-ground coaching, administrative assistance, and significant financial support. Fundraising is a difficult task for church planters in the Bay Area and Bayseed Collective seeks to alleviate this challenge freeing a church planting team to have more freedom to get to the heart of the planting task of proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, and establishing a worshipping community that testifies to the presence of Christ.
Church Plant Candidate
for San Jose
We are actively coaching and caring for a church planting couple with a vision for establishing a Spanish-speaking parish church in San Jose. The Bayseed Collective is committed to identifying and investing in potential church planters under assessment and funding residencies as they explore the call to church planting in the Bay Area.
Church Plant Candidates
for Castro Valley
We are also actively coaching and caring for two church planting couples with a vision for serving together to establish a parish church in Castro Valley. Currently, Bayseed is working with their sending church and other missional organizations to send this church plant with all the support it needs to flourish in their parish.
Church Property Assistance
Stewarding church property for maximum Kingdom benefit is a high priority for the Bayseed Collective. Assisting churches with property needs is a significant way we seek to help overcome one of the most practical challenges for those called to advance the gospel in the Bay Area. The following are churches we are serving in this way:
